Oh! How I love Christmas time! It's especially special when you have young kids to share it with.
Our Christmas tradition involves opening up one gift on Christmas Eve. I don't even think I need to say that on Christmas morning, at the crack of dawn, the kids are up and eager to start opening gifts!
I lazily get out of bed... Josiah is already awake... and Corey, my sons' father, is sitting on the couch, in the living room, looking as sleepy as I am. Time to get my Christmas gift out, which I've already opened, my Canon Rebel T3i! Yaay!! No need to borrow cameras anymore and I have all the freedom in the world to click away whenever I want!
The rest of the morning is a blur. The kids are ripping and tearing away at the wrapping paper. Smiles and laughs are bouncing off the walls. The opening of gifts is paused when one of the kids finds a toy they don't want to put down. I sit back... click... click...smile... click... click....
It was a great morning! The afternoon is more relaxed. Watching the Boston Celtics game... posting pics on Facebook... playing with the kids... last minute dinner shopping.... food... drinks... enjoying family time! Merry Christmas everyone!! Enjoy the pics and feel free to leave a comment!
